…and thank you for seeking out, WolfeEdu, whether you happened to just fall onto this incredible platform or you are looking for quality advice, products, and services then this has not happened by chance you are here for a reason!
Let me introduce myself. I’m Anna the founder of WolfeEdu, named aptly after my wonderful but complex hound dog Wolf!
Wolf is the reason why WolfeEdu is so important to me. He is my inspiration, the fuel that got the fire going!
Wolf was brought up on a small farm in the South Island of New Zealand and now resides with his family in the beautiful West Berkshire countryside in the UK at the ripe old age of 14!
From being in wide open spaces in New Zealand to living in highly populated towns of the UK I noticed that my anxiety was through the roof when taking Wolf out for a walk. Wolf is a very obedient loyal dog and is quite happy minding his own business, but I started to notice people gravitating towards him wanting to stroke him, grab him and even chase after him.
Now Wolf is not a dog that appreciates being crowded especially by humans so he would assertively tell them so. On observing this I also observed many children who were crippled with fear rather than overconfidence, and how getting children to go for a nice calm enjoyable family walk turned into a performance for parents and was anything but calming. Children clinging to their mothers’ legs shaking with fear, or hysterically embedded into their father’s shoulder not even being able to look at a cockerpoo 100 metres away. The fear of dogs or cynophobia is real and affects astonishingly 1 in 20 people.
So…. It got me thinking, what if we can educate children from the ages of 2 – 11 in how to share a safe space with a dog, what if we can also educate these kids on how to love and respect animals and understand their basic behaviour.
WolfeEdu is here to
